Sivaji Ganesan to be cremated
on Monday morning

The cremation of Chevalier Sivaji Ganesan will take place in Madras on Monday.

The funeral procession will leave Anna Illam, Sivaji Ganesan's T Nagar residence at 0730 hours (IST) and proceed to the crematorium at Besant Nagar.

Meanwhile, the Nadigar Sangham has said that there would be no film shooting in Tamil Nadu on Sunday or Monday.

Tamil star Vijaykanth, an office bearer and past president of the Sangham, has petitioned Chief Minister Jayalalithaa to extend a state funeral for the thespian.

He has asked all artistes to meet at the Sangham office at 0600 hrs and proceed together to Sivaji Ganesan's residence.
